My Bookshelf

I used to hate reading as a kid. My mom used to always tell me to read more, and compare me with more successful kids my age who would read books because that was apparently the secret to success. I was in the bucket of kids who played one to many video games. Nowadays if you can play video games well enough, you can probably make a million dollars a year and have better cognitive scores, but let’s not harp on that.

The only books that I could get into reading at an early age at lightning speeds were comic books. My favorite of them all had to be, Spider-Man. It wasn’t until much later in my life, towards my college days, I started picking up books for fun on an interesting topic to learn and hear what people had to say about a topic in their own words.

In recent years I’ve gotten into reading more and more. They are a great way to get away from our screens, and learn about a topic or read a story. This longer form is better for the brain too. So I wanted to start a little review section on my site, to just give back to the internet, and save my thoughts on each of the books that I read through. This gives me a nice way to conclude each book, and if I can explain what I read then maybe, just maybe I absorbed and learned something from the book.

Each book will most likely go back up on my eBay and Mercari store sites for purchase. They’ll be cheap or donated if not sold. If you are interested in purchasing a book below, shoot me a message! Most are always up for sale, and are relatively cheap (like a dollar, you just pay for the shipping cost!). Check out if they are listed, or to get them listed head over my sales page.
