Teaching Computer Systems

My Course

Over the course of the semester I taught my students a broad range of introductory topics ranging from;

  • Basic Excel Knowledge
  • Database concepts and design
  • HTML and Webpage Design
  • Programming Basics with Python
  • Networking
  • Computer Hardware
  • Computer Software

These topics are meant to introduce any student to leveraging computers for any business process to improve efficiency and productivity.

My teaching philosophy

I believe in a fully transparent and honest teacher. Someone who can relate the course material to real-world application. Today’s applications move fast, so with any information the answer is constantly challenged, and their might be more than one way of doing things.

Teaching course material should also be fun, agile, and flexible for the student.

See what some of the students are saying;

did a great job making us work and laugh with us. it was a pleasure

Definitely up to date with the corporate world which is always refreshing for a professor.

I found this class very interesting, and you explain things exceptionally well, making even complex topics easier to understand. I also appreciate how you encourage participation and create an engaging learning environment. Overall, it has been a great experience, and I feel I’ve learned a lot throughout the course. Thank you for your dedication!
