Make creativity accidental

Accidental Creative

Nothing great that you can’t find online through some articles. I wouldn’t spend any money on this book. Now I’m not saying that there’s nothing in here that’s useful, because there is plenty. However, you could probably find some more tips and tricks online or elsewhere.

The Accidental Creative

So I picked up this book from the trash. Someone was clearly moving out of my building and it the mess of stuff all over the floor, were a pile of books. After digging through for a couple of seconds, I stumbled upon this one.

The book centers around promoting accidental creativity, and fostering a more productive environment for you to be creative. There’s a couple of stories, analogies, and methods that the author promotes in the book.

Nothing ground breaking, but there are a lot of good points and ways of thinking about productivity and how to become more efficient. Especially with the allocation of your mental bandwidth, and understanding how and when to say no, regarding taking on more projects than we can handle.

For anyone who is struggling or having that “down” moment at work, reading this and hearing that tons of people are going through the same things that you are, will be refreshing to hear, and uplifting to know there’s light at the end of that project you’re working on!
