The following presentation was created using a variety of tools including Tableau, R studio, and other data mining tools to gain insights into tweets based on a topic. My senior project shown here, included extracting hundreds of tweets off of twitter surrounding this “GamerGate” scandal.
The purpose of this final, was to leverage all of our tools to find any valuable and meaningful insights. Creating some word clouds, and plotting tweet counts on a graph shown in slide 8, we were able to see some meaningful trends that pointed to an increase of activity for this hashtag on twitter.
