Telling the story of the the massive and one of the most successful hedge funds ever, SAC Capital founded by Steve Cohen. It’s a really interesting story hearing from some of the people who worked on the case to take down this hedge fund for trading on insider information.
I never really knew too much about SAC or Steve Cohen, except that he owned the Mets. I stayed away from Wall Street, and most financial books aren’t all that interesting to me. This book dives more into the case elaborating on the “how” and the “who”, and paints a picture of how the SEC formed their case to try and put an end to SAC and Cohen.
Getting into the details of the case was pretty cool, and how they connected all the dots. If you are into the details of hedge funds, Cohen, or watched the Madoff documentary on Netflix, then you’ll want to give this one a read.
