The Belmar Five Mile
Chip Time: 32:27

Haven’t posted in a while, so I wanted to take this opportunity to share a bit more about my recent experience with running. It’s been quite a journey, especially considering the injuries I’ve had to deal with this year, specifically my Achilles and calf.
The race day was filled with a mix of emotions – excitement, nervousness, and determination. As the starting gun went off, I felt a surge of adrenaline flow through my veins. Step by step, I pushed myself forward, focusing on the path ahead and the finish line.
The course itself was scenic and challenging, with rolling hills and winding pathways. But it was also a beautiful reminder of the beauty of nature and the joy of being able to engage in physical activity.
Now, as I shift my focus towards recovery and preparing for future races, I can’t help but feel a renewed sense of motivation and commitment. This race may have been a small milestone, but it has fueled my desire to tackle even greater challenges in the upcoming months.
So, here’s to the road ahead – filled with more miles to run, more personal records to break, and more memories to create. I am grateful for the lessons learned, the strength gained, and the endless possibilities that lie ahead on this running journey of mine. Let’s keep pushing forward, one step at a time.
