So I don’t have a cool name or use case really for this app. I just found myself needing something to make my life a bit easier, make better decisions, stay informed, look at historical data, and not give my health insights to some other random 3rd party application from Google Play.
Here comes AppSheet. I’ve been loving this product since 2022. Appsheet is a low code application builder and let’s you build an app right from your personal Google Sheets. It’s quick to setup, easy to deploy, and makes a mobile app that you can use right on your phone. It’s a step above good old MIT App Inventor.
Background
So I have this old injury from 2023, that hasn’t gotten much better and really started to affect daily activities in 2025. I felt like I had been trying everything under the sun to get better, but nothing was working. I hit a low point. It didn’t seem like there was a path forward with my recovery being sidelined these past few months.
As I was prepping for a doctor visit (after seeing a bunch already) I realized I was forgetting what previous doctor results and exercises I was doing that was aiding in my recovery. When I would go see a new doctor and they would ask, “What works? What makes you feel better?”, I had tried so many things, it was hard to keep track.
I realized that I had no way of seeing what was actually working, and if I was getting better on a weekly basis. I didn’t have a record of anything, and have a good way of viewing all of this data I was generating for myself. I needed a way to collect it and make some better decisions to help speed up my recovery. So, I got to work and created the app that you’ll see on the following page…
