I had an internship and co-operative education position while working at Con Edison in NYC. Throughout my time at the company, my primary role was to optimize existing business processes and applications. I got the chance to leverage many concepts and frameworks learned in the classroom and apply them to dozens of real world scenarios.
Many of the applications created were driven for the purpose to improve repetitive tasks needed for change management, tracking, or improvements upon “as-is” processes. These applications were all created within the approved Microsoft suite of applications including Access, Excel, and SharePoint.
Many functions of these applications included; calendar scheduling tasks, change management, and Tableau Dashboard creation for KPIs to monitor breaker outages throughout NYC.
