Enhancing Telehealth
This exercise is meant to assess problem-solving capabilities. Feel free to make assumptions about any missing data; just state those assumptions.
Goal: Enhance Telehealth for 911 emergencies
Problem Statement: Often times, when a Telehealth doctor is consulting a patient, the doctor determines that the patient needs emergency help and the patient is unable to call 911 herself. In such a situation the doctor must get someone from support staff to make the 911 call on behalf of the patient so that the patient can get emergency help while the doctor stays with the patient on the call.
Assignment: Present to us a potential technical solution for solving this. You can assume that both the patient and the doctor are connected via a telephone during the visit and that the doctor is logged into a provider portal online where he/she has access to patient’s medical information and is documenting within the patient’s chart.
Project Deliverables:
- Presentation outlining a possible solution to solve this problem
- Present details, user workflows, data diagrams, UI mockups
